| Directions:
Drive to the village of Cul de Sac and make your way right down to the docks where there is plenty of parking. The ferries are large open boats which they pack about 50 on. It's only a 10-minute ride, close to shore, but if you cannot swim and are nervous about getting on a packed boat with no life preservers, then make sure you bring one for yourself. The ferries come and go all day, with the last one returning to shore at about 4 PM. From the textile beach just walk inland to the east. you will soon see beach 1 facing the south. Keep walking until you get to beach 2 which faces east.
|
Facilities: At the textile beach there is a serviceable washroom you might have to pay for. And lots of food, drink. Both of the nude beaches can't be more than 10 minutes from the textile beach.
History/Status: Use is sporatic but I suspect there is no trouble with the law.
Accommodation: Within a short drive is the Orient Beach resort mecca.
Misc: Car theft is rampant. You WILL have your car broken into no matter where you park. Your trunk is not safe. If you leave anything in your car, say goodbye to it because you will never see it again.
